Join us on Monday is to demand that our schools' tax dollars don't subsidize billionaire developers! Atlanta Public Schools may throw away about half a billion dollars in taxes towards the Gulch scheme. Join us for meetings open to public comment at 8:45am and 1:00pm - let's Redlight the Gulch!

WEAR RED! We will make public comments at both meetings and members of the Redlight Coalition will be available to talk with press after the morning APS meeting.

--AT 8:45am, Center for Learning and Leadership Auditorium--
The Atlanta Public Schools(APS) Board will be voting to allow over $660 million in school taxes to go to the Gulch billionaires and other developers in the Westside and other TADs. The net cost to school kids, teachers and taxpayers is about half a billion dollars.

APS has no legal obligation to do this. These are new commitments that the public has had no input into. They appear to contravene the board’s own TAD policy.

We call on the public to tell their APS board members to vote NO on this terrible diversion of public money from the schools to developers. Find members' email addresses here:

--AT 1:00pm, City Hall--
City Council votes to ratify the revised funding deal for the Gulch, including APS taxes.

In the meantime, we will continue to contest the Gulch scheme bond validation as unlawful on multiple legal grounds. To donate to fund the legal fees, click here:
